Fast service and fast turnaround are all done through their website and email exchange, no need...Call and talk to anyone. Within two days of receiving my machine, they provided a full diagnostic report, repair estimate, and provided an invoice for payment with my written approval. Two days later, the machine was repaired and shipped back to me (4 days total). The repaired machine was 7-8 years old, so I bought a brand new one in the meantime, don't know if it will be repairable, and now I have a spare AirCurve 10 that I can use while traveling while putting the new The machine is at home. They replaced the blower motor on my ResMed Aircurve 10 VAUTO for a reasonable price and it was very...Quickly. (I suspect that ResMed designed these units to have a limited lifespan.) After receiving the repaired unit, I took it to my local Apria branch and asked them to check that the pressure was set correctly based on the sleep test I provided to the Altra. Apria confirms The pressure is set correctly. I would definitely use this company again for my CPAP repairs.read more

I had them fix my Airsense 10 and I'm happy with it, it lasted a few days. machine started...Closed itself within a week of spending $500 on repairs. I sent the machine back and they are now claiming it was water damaged within a few days of me using it, so nothing is covered under warranty. Totally false. I'm in the process of having it shipped back to me... at my expense! My cpap was out of warranty in less than a month. I don't trust this company now. I wouldn't use them if I were you.read more

I found Altra CPAP Repair through an extensive web search. I had them replace the motor/blower...I have 22,842 hours on my ResMed S9. That motor/blower is dying and getting louder is a sure sign that the bearings are about to fail. For a flat rate, Altra replaced the motor/blower, then did a full diagnostic on the ResMed S9 machine and passed all tests. Better and cheaper than trying to replace it! My wife's CPAP needs repair, is out of warranty, and is not eligible for a new CPAP...through health insurance. Our local CPAP store recommended Altra. I contacted them. They sent me a mailing label. I boxed up the machine and took it to the UPS store. They handle the packaging. Altra paid for the postage. When Altra received the package, they told me that an estimate was coming. A few days later, I got an estimate to fix it. I told them to go ahead and charge my credit card for the estimated cost. About a week later, I got an email saying the repair was done and UPS would send it to me shortly. I got it a few days later and it was back to normal. All in all it was a very pleasant experience dealing with Altra.read more

I was so impressed with the Altra that I almost didn't know where to start. I first took my malfunctioning machine to...I originally got it from Lincare. They sent it to ResMed. Now this is a medical device, but neither Lincare nor ResMed is a loaner or demo or any type of replacement for when my machine gets serviced. Lincare has never contacted me to let me know the status of the machine. Did ResMed get the machine? Can they fix it? When can I get it back? cricket. After I called them multiple times, they told me the repair at ResMed would take 8-10 weeks! I asked them to send the unrepaired machine back to me. Then I found out about Altra and called them. They told me it would take about 1-1/2 weeks, and they even post an estimated repair cost on their website. As soon as I got the machine back from ResMed, I sent it to Altra. Their process is simple and straightforward. The most complicated part is getting it to the UPS store, which is - well, not complicated. I got my receipt and repair estimate within a few days. I have questions about estimates and email them. surprise! A real person answered my questions within hours. I approved the repair and sent the machine back within 8 days. These people are completely united. I wholeheartedly recommend them for CPAP rehab. Very very impressive performance.read more

They don't clean refurbished parts, and they don't change filters. Here is the reference...to the sieve bed tank or assembly, and the compressor or pump. From experience, I've also noticed that the purity rate isn't realistic for a refurbished label, if it's not a leak pressure, or just a bad report.read more

Altra CPAP Repair mishandled returns even though my CPAP machine was serviced as needed...transportation. Well, mistakes happen, but the most disappointing thing is that they could have taken steps to correct the shipping issue, but they did nothing. In the end I had to sort things out with UPS and drive 80 miles to pick up my package. If they drop the ball, they should at least pick it up. I am updating my review in response to the Altra CPAP repair shop owner's comment: I am posting this review for the benefit of future customers. When there was an issue with return shipping, Altra CPAP Repair did not follow up and fix the issue. I stand by the facts stated in my post.read more

I ordered a refurbished AirSep NewLife Intensity 10L Oxygen Concentrator from Altra Service...professional. The device was in good working order when I received it. I ordered it while using a Mildly Hyperbaric Oxygen Chamber (MHBOT). When I plug the pipe into the MHBOT, the concentrator does not function as desired. I contacted Altra and sent it to them. They are amazing and relentlessly trying to find a solution. Bob is the best service professional I've ever met, and he spends a lot of time trying to figure out what's wrong. He is so kind, patient and helpful. While this machine was tested to work, they sent me another refurbished machine that worked with my MHBOT. I highly recommend this company! ! Hi my name is Jim and I live in a small town in Wisconsin and I never do reviews but feel...This time I need to let everyone know that they will love what Altra Professionals has to offer. I have a Resmed 10 car and it started wheezing so I contacted the company that sold it to me and they said they could fix it but it would take up to 2 months and they could rent me a machine until mine was It's fixed. Well, 4 months later, $379,00, I received my machine and when I opened it, the pressure was so high that I couldn't use the machine. Needless to say I felt cheated, the company said they were not sure why the machine did that. Not wanting to deal with them anymore, I found Altra Professionals online, I called them and a lady rep answered the phone and she was very polite and answered all my questions so I filled out the repair form and received my shipping label and mailed it to my machine. Within a week they sent me an estimate for the repair and said if I wanted it fixed all I needed to do was approve the repair, which I did and received an invoice the next morning with the cost of the repair and a secure site to pay, I'm glad they accept Paypal! I paid immediately and received my machine within a week, it works like brand new, it only took a total of two weeks to fix my machine, the repair work is covered by a 1 year warranty. Sent to a repair facility just for routine service, over $600 to rebuild something...That works. I took it back and sent it to Altra Servic Professionals and they charged me $45 for a full diagnostic and routine service. You tell me who you think is an honest businessman.read more

Altra was very helpful and did a great job fixing my DeVilbiss concentrator. they work...Come with me and let me drop it, then they diagnose it for free and fix it while I wait. I know they also do repairs on shipped equipment and are an authorized service center for several brands. Great guy, very knowledgeable. If they don't answer the call quickly, don't give up. My machine has been leaking and malfunctioning for months, then the fan just stopped....I have emailed many companies that advertise that they repair CPAP machines and my model is listed as one of the machines they repair. I heard back from ASP almost immediately. Another company wrote back the next day. I decided to use ASP. The process of sending them my machine was easy. They notified me when my shipment was processed and provided a full estimate including gasket replacement. I responded immediately and paid for the service. Within a few days, they shipped it back to me, which took two days. I don't remember my machine being so quiet. here you go. I now know where to send my machine if I have any problems. I have had a ResMed CPAP for about 6 years. The machine is not working properly and I...My supplier told me I would have to wait about 12 weeks for a new machine. This is totally untenable. My provider suggested I try Altra CPAP Repair. It did take four weeks, start to finish, to get the machine fixed and returned, but I received it yesterday afternoon and got my first full sleep in over 8 weeks. The motherboard on the machine failed and was expensive to repair, but I'd do it again in no time. All the people at Altra are helpful and professional. Great experience! ! !read more
